The platform
What is RidesForAll?
A dispatch platform for organizations that move people — medical transport companies, school districts, and specialized fleet operators. We provide the software; you provide the vehicles and drivers.
Do you operate vehicles or provide drivers?
No — we are software, not a transportation company. We help you run your existing operation more reliably. You bring the fleet and the expertise; we bring the tools.
What types of organizations use RidesForAll?
Medical transport companies, school districts, paratransit programs, senior shuttle services, and other specialized fleet operators. If your core job is safely moving people from A to B, we're built for you.
What does the pricing look like?
Pricing is based on fleet size and feature set. Contact us and we'll put together a tailored quote — typically in one business day.
Getting started
How long does onboarding take?
Most fleets are live in 2–4 weeks, including data migration and driver onboarding. Larger school districts plan for 6 weeks to allow time for route configuration and shadow runs with dispatch.
What does data migration look like?
We'll work with you to import drivers, passengers, companies, and address data from your existing system as part of onboarding.
What driver training is required?
The driver app is designed to require minimal training — it shows one thing at a time and is built around confirmation taps. Most drivers are comfortable after a single demo run. We provide a guided walkthrough during onboarding.
How it works day-to-day
Can I manage recurring trips?
Yes. You can create recurring trip schedules (daily, weekly) that auto-generate individual trips. You can cancel individual occurrences, transfer the series, or cancel the entire series with a single action.
How does accessibility matching work?
Passenger profiles can store accessibility requirements (wheelchair accessible, companion seating, medical equipment needs). The dispatch console makes these visible when assigning drivers, and vehicles are tagged with their capabilities.
How are trip exceptions handled?
Trips move through a clear state machine — confirmed → en route → picking up → in progress → dropping off → completed (or cancelled / needs rescue). Dispatchers can override status, reassign or rescue drivers, and every state change is recorded in the event audit log.
What reporting and exports are available?
Trip history, event logs, and passenger records are all accessible from the dashboard, with table-level CSV export for any list. API access is available for deeper integrations.
Data & privacy
Is my data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access is controlled by role-based permissions — dispatchers, drivers, and passengers each see only what they need. Every trip produces a full event audit log.
Who can see passenger data?
Passenger records are scoped to your organization's dispatcher and admin accounts. Drivers see only the trip details needed to complete a pickup — not the passenger's full profile or history.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
We offer a REST API covering every dispatcher capability, plus CSV export from the dispatcher tables. If you need a custom integration, talk to us about what you're working with.
